Respectful Networking & Interaction Policy

Our event fosters a professional and inclusive environment where meaningful connections are encouraged. To ensure a positive experience for all attendees, we ask that you remain mindful of the following guidelines:

Be Respectful of Others’ Boundaries: Not every interaction is an opportunity for a sales conversation. Please be considerate of your fellow attendees’ personal space, time, and comfort. When engaging with others in networking lounges, lobbies, or social settings, please be mindful to observe the situation. Take cues from body language and determine whether it is an appropriate moment to introduce yourself and business topics.

Avoid Aggressive Solicitation: Overly persistent or aggressive attempts to promote products or services, especially in social settings, can negatively impact the event experience. Sponsors, partners, and attendees have the right to engage in conversations at their discretion, and we ask that you show respect when someone is not interested in receiving a pitch.

Networking Etiquette: Networking is a mutually beneficial and respectful exchange. If someone signals that they are not interested in continuing a conversation, gracefully disengage and allow the interaction to end on a positive note.

Create an Inclusive Environment: We encourage all attendees to foster an atmosphere of collaboration, respect, and professionalism. Treat others with courtesy and refrain from disruptive behaviors, especially in informal social spaces where attendees may be relaxing outside of formal networking sessions.

Attendees who violate these guidelines may be asked to leave the event without a refund and may be prohibited from attending future events.

Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience any conduct that violates these guidelines, please report it to event staff, who can be found at registration and help desks.
