Kit Hoover is currently co-host of the nationally syndicated and Emmy-nominated nightly entertainment news program ”Access Hollywood” as well as daily lifestyle entertainment show ”Access Daily with Mario & Kit.” Off-screen, Hoover also hosts a weekly podcast, “The Coop with Kit,” where she has inspiring and thought-provoking conversations with the world’s most recognizable women in entertainment, sports and business.

The Atlanta native and mother of three has always embraced living life to the  fullest. Hoover made her television debut in 1995 as a cast member on the original season of MTV’s “Road Rules,” which sparked her interest in pursuing a career in television. Soon after, she joined King World Productions as their entertainment reporter for “American Journal.” Hoover then went to Fox News and in 1999 became a correspondent for Fox Broadcasting Company’s news magazine, “FOX Files.”

In 2003, she hosted ESPN2’s “Cold Pizza” and served as a guest judge on ESPN’s reality contest “Dream Job.” Her additional hosting roles include TLC’s lifestyle makeover series “Real Simple, Real Life,” based upon the magazine Real Simple; ABC’s “Shaq Vs.,” a reality show starring Shaquille O’Neal; and Lifetime’s “Celebrity Home Raiders.” She has also hosted Animal Planet’s live two-hour special, “Give a Dog a Home,” which aired in 2019.

Hoover received an athletic scholarship to the University of North Carolina where she earned a B.A. in communications. Hoover continues to pursue her passion for fitness by running, biking, hiking, playing tennis and pickleball whenever possible. She is a big advocate for aging gratefully and currently resides in Los Angeles.
